What is Networking?
A computer network refers to a group of computers connected together for the purpose of sharing resources and information. Computer networks may support many services and applications, including access to the internet, digital video, the shared use of application and storage servers, printers, and the use of email and messaging applications.
A computer network can be categorised by their size. A computer network comes in mostly four types:
- LAN (Local Area Network)
- PAN (Personal Area Network)
- MAN (Metropolitan Area Network)
- WAN (Wide Area Network)
