Delayed Ringing

What is Delayed Ringing?

Delayed Ringing is a common phone system feature. It activates an “overflow” protocol so that the phone is always answered. For example, if you have Customer Service Support staff and Customer Service Managers, you may want the phone to ring through to all of the support staff, first but if the call isn’t answered within say, 5 rings, it starts ringing through to the Customer Service Managers. This means the call is always answered.

It is an ideal feature for receptionists who need cover on their breaks or simply, if colleagues (or even if whole departments) are in meetings. The call is always answered.
